Zenith H615Z Tabletop (1952)

I picked this Zenith up at a local junk shop for $13.50. It's ivory bakelite, and it didn't work (needs a tube and new filter caps, no doubt). It cleaned up really well, the case is in excellent shape. At first, I didn't really like this radio and thought about reselling it. However, after I cleaned it up, I decided I liked it a bit better. I went ahead and tested all the tubes, and found that the 35W5 and 12BE6 were dead. After replacing those, the radio worked great! It has the fantastic sound that is typical of Zenith radios. The red jewel on the top of the case lights up and looks quite nice, especially in a darkened room.
