This RCA bakelite radio dates to 1949, but you can already see the 1950's era styling sneaking in. This radio was purchased at an antique mall for $20, and it worked great as found. It's also an AM/FM radio - one of the oldest FM radios in my collection.

The only restoration that was required was to polish up the case, and clean the tarnish off the brass piece around the dial glass (it was black when found). Once that was taken care of, the radio looked great!
