This RCA bakelite radio was purchased at auction for $8. This photo shows it's "as found" condition - very, very dirty. The case seems to be in reasonable shape, it just needs a solid cleaning.

Electronically, the radio was dead as found. It's missing a couple of tubes. I recently ordered the schematic for the radio (the sticker on the bottom is virtually destroyed) to find out which tubes were missing. Now that I have that, I can order the replacement tubes when I get around to it.
