I bought this Philco because it had the same tube lineup as my 48-200, which I was trying to fix. It worked fairly well when bought, but needed new capacitors. I replaced all the old paper caps, and it works even better now.

The case has a few minor paint chips, which give this old radio some character. Some collectors would repaint, but it's not bad enough to require that.

This radio really pulls in the stations - I've picked up stations as far away as New York state on it!
