This Detrola tabletop radio was refinished at some point, but whoever did it did a good enough job for me. There's a small veneer chip that was fixed quite well. It appears that the grille cloth is not original. Machine to Jet Age shows this radio with a different patterned cloth - I may replace it, as the pattern shown in the book is available through AES. Also, the escutcheon is on upside down in this picture. I have since switched it to its proper orientation.

This radio is completely dead. I bought it knowing this, and will at some point have to check it out. I suspect a dead tube.
