I found this Bendix radio at a local antique mall for only $19. I've bought
several radios from this dealer in the past, and have always been happy. The
case is a milky white plaskon, and the painted dial glass is flawless. The
only flaw is the lack of a brass insert on one of the knobs. I think I can
probably make something that will work.
The radio seems to work fine as found. There is a very low hum, so I may
replace the electrolytic filter capacitors at some point. It's fine for now.
