This imposing Airline radio is also known as the "Global". It has AM, as well as Shortwave bands. The dial lists foreign cities on one side, with the band numbers on the other side. I picked this one up at a junk shop. The case shined up very well! The gray speaker cover needs some touch up paint (you can see some reddish-pinkish material where the paint has scraped off).

Electronically, the radio works only on the shortwave bands. Also, the dial cord is broken. I've spent hours trying to figure out how to string the cord (it's quite complicated), and finally gave up. I'll have to order a schematic to figure it out.
